About

This course provides a compassionate look at the history of injustice that LGBTQIA+ people have faced, while offering hope for a more inclusive, respectful future ahead. By enrolling in this course and watching these brief lessons, you will learn from Dr. Alex Keuroghlian, the Director of the Division of Education and Training at The Fenway Institute in Boston and Associate Chief of Public and Community Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Through this course, you will gain a better understanding of foundational concepts and terminology, which will assist you when interacting with LGBTQIA+ people. You will also learn more about specific steps that can be taken in healthcare settings to foster a respectful, high-quality experience for all people.
